The society elections were due to be held over the next two weeks. However, I have received a grand total of one manifesto from one candidate for the position of Society President for next year. Here's Tom Sands' manifesto, for anyone interested: Now that Kent Netgames has been atleast a little active for some time we can see that its not going to keel over and die, which is always a good thing. It does however need someone who can devote a little more time into forming it into the large, successful, and ofcourse fun society that it should be. If elected I will work towards the goals of extending out KNG's membership, sorting out dedicated servers for game hosting, and of course Lan parties (Red tape permitting). Should this be allowed, Tom will be next year's president by default. |

Hi all, I hope you're all settled back into the swing of things after your first week back at uni! It's been a fairly quiet holiday period in the way of games, but a few of us having been making good use of the Left 4 Dead server. We had a fairly sub-par taking for leagues and clothing orders, so in the mean time, they are both on hold. Now some of you will be more interestied in this: Planning is now underway for a lan party. I am currently looking at a weekend near the end of term, and we will try hold it on campus. I'll give you more information when I have it. |
